Matthew Trost is a startup founder, creative, inventor, and software engineer based in Kamakura, Japan and Brooklyn, New York. He is COO of Superoot, a CPG company with products in 300+ stores around the US. With over 15+ years experience in startups ranging from creative technology to CPG, he has built products, led teams, and helped companies scale. He was CTO of Haiku, which he co-founded and entered YC in the W18 batch. His work has reached #1 on Product Hunt and Hacker News. He was also CTO of Plato Design (also a YC company).
